Overview
On Call Services & Rentals is a fast-growing service company providing roll-off dumpsters, portable toilets, temporary fencing, and storage/office containers to construction, industrial, event, and government customers. We pride ourselves on being dependable, responsive, and easy to work with.
We’re looking for an Inside Service Coordinator to be the front line of communication with our customers—making sure orders are entered accurately, calls are handled professionally, and opportunities for new business are captured.
What You’ll Do
- Input Customer Orders
- Enter new orders and changes into our proprietary operating system accurately and efficiently
- Verify pricing, service dates, locations, and special instructions
- Update orders as needed (relocations, pickups, additional units, etc.)
- Handle Customer Service Calls
- Answer inbound customer calls in a friendly and professional manner
- Resolve service issues, schedule deliveries/pickups, and provide status updates
- Communicate with dispatch and operations to ensure on-time service
- Document customer interactions and follow up where needed
- Inbound & Outbound Sales Calls
- Take incoming calls from potential customers and convert them into orders
- Make outbound follow-up calls to existing and past customers to win repeat business
- Provide quotes, explain our services, and upsell additional products when appropriate
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through consistent, proactive communication
- General Support
- Work closely with operations, dispatch, and sales team to ensure smooth daily workflow
- Assist with billing questions, PO numbers, and basic account inquiries
- Help identify process improvements that make things easier for our customers and our team
What We’re Looking For
- Experience
- Previous experience in customer service, inside sales, dispatch, or service coordination preferred
- Experience in a service-based, construction, rental, or logistics environment is a plus, but not required
- Skills & Qualities
- Strong phone presence and clear, professional communication
- Comfortable making and receiving a high volume of calls
- Detail-oriented with strong data entry and order accuracy
- Able to juggle multiple tasks, prioritize, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solver with a positive attitude and “ownership” mindset
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
- Other Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
