Job Title: Plaintiff’s Medical Malpractice Attorney
Location: White Plains, New York
Compensation: Up to $175,000 base salary profit sharing year-end bonus
Our client, a highly regarded plaintiff-side litigation firm, is seeking an experienced and motivated Medical Malpractice Attorney to join its growing team in White Plains, NY. Position Overview: The ideal candidate will have substantial plaintiff-side medical malpractice experience, including first-chair trial experience, and the ability to independently manage complex cases from inception through resolution and appeal.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle all phases of plaintiff-side medical malpractice litigation from intake through trial and appeal
- Develop case strategy and conduct legal research and analysis
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery demands/responses, and other litigation documents
- Conduct depositions, court appearances, hearings, mediations, and trials
- Communicate effectively with clients, medical experts, opposing counsel, and the court
- Manage a full caseload independently while maintaining high-quality advocacy and client service
Qualifications
- Active New York Bar admission required (additional admissions are a plus)
- Significant plaintiff-side medical malpractice litigation experience required
- First-chair trial experience required
- Strong analytical, research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to work autonomously and manage complex litigation matters
- Passion for plaintiff advocacy and securing justice for injured clients
