PRN Nurse - Oral Surgery

Our growing oral surgery practice in Flagstaff is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to assist our surgeon on scheduled surgery days. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who is looking for flexible, as-needed work while supporting a highly skilled surgical team in a professional outpatient setting.

This position allows you to create a schedule that works for you, with opportunities to assist during oral surgery procedures requiring IV sedation.

Responsibilities

• Assist the oral surgeon during sedation and surgical procedures
• Monitor patients under IV sedation and anesthesia
• Record and track vital signs and patient status throughout procedures
• Administer medications as directed by the surgeon
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to sedation and surgical protocols
• Assist with emergency preparedness and response if needed
• Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure smooth surgical days

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• ACLS Certification (required)
• PALS Certification (required)
• Experience with IV sedation, anesthesia monitoring, or surgical settings preferred
• Strong patient monitoring and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work efficiently in afast-paced surgical environment

• PRN / As Needed
• Work on scheduled oral surgery days
• Flexible scheduling – great opportunity to supplement existing work

Employment Type

We are open to structuring this role as either:

• 1099 Independent Contractor, or
• W-2 Employee
