OMS Specialists, one of the Twin Cities' most established oral surgery groups, is seeking an exceptional Implant Treatment Coordinator to join our growing team! Experience in customer service and sales is a must, and experience in Oral Surgery or Dental is a plus! We are looking for an outgoing, creative, personable, and highly organized leader who has the proven ability to multitask and be detail-oriented to help us deliver outstanding customer service. The Implant Treatment Coordinator will report directly to the Clinical Manager. The perfect fit will perform the following duties:
The Patient Experience
The treatment coordinator ensures patients have an excellent clinical and value experience, communicating to them their treatment options, appointment value, fees, and payments. The treatment coordinator incorporates the integration of the referral practice, adding value to the partnership and interdisciplinary care. Experience in Oral Surgery, Dental, and Dental Assisting is a plus! Experience in Sales is a must. Knowledge of implant systems and experience in implant inventory management is key! Interdisciplinary Communication
The implant coordinator engages in interdisciplinary communication with the referring doctor’s practice, which includes the following:
*Discussing the patient’s treatment results
*Delivering any necessary clinical documentation, to include clinical notes, radiographs, patient communication, any next steps, etc.
*If the patient has not accepted treatment, communicate the patient’s experience, feedback, and objections
*Coordinating future patient scheduling
*Expressing gratitude for the referral(i.e. a “thank-you” note).
