What are the responsibilities and job description for the Oral Surgery Assistant/EFDA position at OMS Coastal GA?
Starting pay: $22 an hour based on experience and skill level. This position is appropriate for an experienced Oral Surgery Assistant/Surgical Assistant with some dental knowledge. Assistants are a key role that comes with a high level of responsibility in a variety of areas. This role includes but is not limited to the following duties and responsibilities:
- Learn and operate practice software- DSN
- Take X-Rays
- Take patients vitals
- Count teeth
- Set up surgical instruments
- Assist in surgical procedures
- Assist with IV sedation
- Assist patients with wheelchair after surgery
- Wipe down and make sure rooms are clean
- Scrub, clean, and put away surgical instruments
- Do laundry for surgical gowns and caps
- Assist in maintaining supplies
- Continually learn, observe, and follow direction in order to develop further as a surgical assistant
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
