What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Operations Manager position at OMS 360?
Objective
The Regional Manager of Operations is primarily responsible for overseeing the operational and clinical support functions of 6 oral surgery practices in a particular region. Reporting directly to the VP of Operations, the Regional Operations Manager will collaborate with Office Managers, Surgeons, Clinical Specialists to provide leadership, support, and guidance to ensure patient experience expectations, quality standards, regulatory guidelines, and financial goals are met. The Regional Operations Manager is directly responsible for financial performance and strategic decisions to drive operational metrics and revenue.
Responsibilities
1. Utilize metrics, dashboards, operational checklists, and key performance indicators to drive optimal office performance
2. Facilitate weekly meetings with Office Managers to review operational strengths and coach on operational and financial improvements and initiatives (local travel required)
3. Meet with VP of Operations on a weekly basis to provide feedback on each office
4. Lead the monthly operations review process to ensure practice leadership (Office Managers, surgeons, VP of Operations) are fully aligned on organic growth priorities
5. Support Office Managers to ensure new employees are onboarded, trained and managed in alignment with our focus on patient experience and company core values.
6. Read, interpret, explain, and manage financial dashboards (labor, revenue, etc.) for each practice, providing coaching to Office Managers to manage variable expenses
7. Ensure Office Managers are compliant with financial policies including invoice approval and submission, cash control, budgeting allocations, and daily processing of credit card batches
8. Work closely with Office Managers to achieve monthly and annual budgets; continually identifying opportunities for improvement
9. Provide performance and coaching feedback, as necessary, to Office Managers in a timely, documented manner
10. Facilitate the semi-annual performance review process
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experience in multi-practice, healthcare operations management
- Expertise with Practice Management Software
- Ability and adaptability to handle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast pace and evolving work environment, demonstrating strong organizational skills, and detail orientation
- Ability to work in collaboration with a senior leadership team, surgeons, and cross-functional team members
- Experience managing budgets, delivering information from P&L statements and delivering strong results within a growth-oriented organization
