Responsibilities
- Utilize hand tools and machining equipment such as lathes, stamping presses, and electrical discharge machining to produce mold components.
- Measure and inspect mold parts using precision instruments like micrometers to ensure accuracy.
- Assemble molds according to specifications, ensuring proper fit and function.
- Perform welding tasks as needed for mold assembly and repair.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to mold production and functionality.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Mold maker or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software for mold design.
- Strong understanding of mold assembly techniques and the use of hand tools.
- Experience with micrometers and other precision measuring instruments is essential.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
