Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and fluent Vietnamese–English Translator to support our Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Case Managers (CMs) during AFC (Adult Foster Care) member home visits. The translator will accompany healthcare staff, help communicate effectively with Vietnamese-speaking members, and ensure clear understanding of assessments, care plans, and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accompany RNs, LPNs, and Case Managers during AFC member home visits.
- Translate conversations clearly between Vietnamese-speaking members and English-speaking clinical staff.
- Help members understand medical questions, instructions, assessments, and service requirements.
- Maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism during all interactions.
- Assist with communication regarding care plans, follow-ups, and documentation needs.
- Ensure cultural sensitivity and clear interpretation without adding or omitting any information.
- Report any concerns or communication barriers to the healthcare team.
Job Type: Part-time
