Overview
An Omni Human Resources Intern will work closely with the human resources team on items pertaining to employee benefits, staffing/retention, employee investigations, and various projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist in recruiting for hourly and professional positions.
- Assist with onboarding and new hire orientations.
- Assist in the screening of candidates via phone and scheduling interviews for hiring managers.
- Work efficiently in the Applicant Tracking System (iCIMS).
- Communicate effectively with hiring managers on their staffing needs and employee relations.
- Assist with HR projects.
- Assist employees with benefits.
Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Must be able to work in office throughout Summer and going into the Fall (limited hours).
- Holds a cumulative GPA of 2.7 or higher.
- Strong professional verbal and communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, team coordination, and the ability to work with all levels of management, clients, and vendors.
- Highly detail-oriented and organized.
- Self-driven and able to complete tasks without specific direction.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office.
