We are actively seeking a motivated 2nd Shift Lead Print Press and Bindery Operator – Full Time to join our team. What You’ll Do

Every day is a little different, but you can expect to:

• Lead and direct shift personnel, assigning tasks and monitoring performance to ensure efficient workflow and quality standards are met
• Communicate production schedules, project status updates and project specifications with team members
• Assures all work areas are properly staffed and used in an efficient manner
• Documents all activities that occur on the shift such as job progression, operational problems or personnel issues
• Provide daily updates to the production supervisor on job status of all work in progress.
• Operate printing and bindery equipment like hydraulic cutters, paper drills, punches, and presses in a clean, well-organized environment
• Maintain and troubleshoot machines to keep things running smoothly
• Collaborate with a tight-knit team

What We’re Looking For

You’ll thrive here if you:

• Have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in related discipline; or combination of related education and experience
• Experience in manufacturing: 2 years (required)
• Experience leading a production team: 1 year (minimum)
• Are mechanically inclined and eager to learn
• Can lift up to 50 pounds
• Have the ability to work 10-hour shift and stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to operate production equipment in a safe and responsible manner
• Take pride in cleanliness and precision
• Enjoy learning new skills and working in a fast-paced setting
• Have strong interpersonal skills and a “team-first” mindset
• Are excited about a long-term career in a skilled trade
