Pioneer Property Management is a vertically integrated apartment management company that specializes in

The Leasing Consultant Manager coordinates all activities related to apartment rentals, move-ins, move-outs, and lease renewals. This position interacts directly with prospective and current residents to achieve maximum occupancy and ensure resident retention and client satisfaction. The Leasing Consultant Manager also assists the Property Manager.
- Assists the Property Manager with other tasks as required.
- Comply with Pioneer Property Management policies and procedures.
- Embraces and executes the vision, mission, and beliefs of the Company.
- Is punctual and present at work when scheduled.
- Flexible with the work schedule, including availability to work weekends, evenings, and/or holidays.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- High school diploma required, college degree preferred.
- Minimum of one year of previous customer service and/or sales experience is preferred.
- Minimum of one year of previous residential leasing experience is preferred.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills providing for effective communication with residents, prospects, employees, peers, vendors, owners, etc.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively and sensitively communicate with all levels of management.
- Sensitivity to confidential matters is required.
- Ability to cope with and defuse situations involving angry or difficult people.
- Ability to use general office equipment, such as telephone, fax machine, printer, copier, and key track system.
- Computer software experience to include MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook and YARDI®.
- Basic understanding of Federal, State, and local Fair Housing laws.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency.
