Elevate Your Industry Career!

We are looking for a skilled individual to join our team as a Data and Analytics Developer, on the Microsoft Fabric and Power BI platform. Omnimax is embarking on a Business Intelligence (BI) transformation, which includes the introduction of a Fabric Lakehouse architecture and Power BI dashboards and semantic models. The successful candidate will be a full time member of the initial transformation project, leveraging technical and design expertise while gaining in-depth knowledge of the operations of the company. As the transformation transitions to a continuous improvement model, the candidate will continue to identify opportunities for new dashboards, automation and analytics use cases, in partnership with the business.

This position will be part of the BI team and engage with stakeholders and experts across the value chain. A successful candidate will have strong inter-personal and partnering skills, knowledge and curiosity to understand all the facets of the business and an eagerness to partner and drive continuous improvement.

Benefits of Working With Us

  • Competitive compensation including paid time off and holidays
  • Medical insurance (HDHP with HSA and PPO options)
  • Prescription drug coverage
  • Dental and vision insurance
  • Pre-tax flexible spending account
  • 401(k) retirement savings with employer match
  • Basic and supplemental life and AD&D insurance
  • Short-term and long-term disability insurance
  • Pre-tax dependent care flexible spending account
  • Wellness program with diabetes prevention, condition care, preventive care, and annual flu shot
  • Employee Assistance Program

Requirements

We are seeking a candidate with the following qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or BI development, ideally with at least 2 years specifically with Power BI
  • Ability to design and manage robust data models (e.g., star schemas), write optimized DAX measures, and transform data using Power Query (M language)
  • Experience building and publishing enterprise-grade Power BI reports and dashboards tailored to specific business needs
  • Solid grasp of data transformation and preparation concepts, including experience with Power Query (M) and/or SQL. Exposure to Python or Power Platform tools (e.g., Power Automate) is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact directly with business users, gather requirements, and recommend solutions
  • Proven track-record of proposing and implementing business-enabling BI solutions, methodological approach to user experience designs and driving user adoption
  • Background or familiarity with finance as well as manufacturing domains strongly preferred
  • Experience working with Oracle EBS data structures or reporting from Oracle-based systems is a plus

Duties and Responsibilities

A typical day may include:

  • Partner directly with business stakeholders — including senior leaders and C-suite executives — to understand challenges, uncover opportunities, and translate them into impactful data solutions
  • Design, build, and optimize interactive dashboards, reports, and data models using Power BI within Microsoft Fabric, helping shape how the business consumes insights
  • Develop data pipelines and transformations that enable smarter, faster decision-making across functions like finance, operations, and manufacturing
  • Play a key role in our BI transformation journey — modernizing legacy systems and helping establish Fabric as the foundation for analytics across the enterprise
  • Continuously explore new ways to drive value through data: whether through improved reporting, automation, or surfacing hidden trends
  • Contribute to a collaborative, learning-focused environment with mentorship, on-the-job growth opportunities, and exposure to cutting-edge Microsoft tools
