We're looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Bilingual Claims Authorization Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll help customers and service providers navigate the claims process by reviewing claim information, communicating claim decisions, and making sure questions and follow-ups are handled in a timely manner. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, communicating with different people, and keeping things organized.
While you may occasionally answer incoming calls, much of your day will focus on email communication and outbound follow-up calls. What You'll Do Review claims and determine whether products or services qualify for coverage under the applicable contract terms. Communicate claim approvals, denials, and other decisions clearly and professionally.
Speak with customers and service providers in both Spanish and English. Respond to emails and make outbound follow-up calls to gather information, provide updates, and move claims forward. Coordinate with contractors and service providers regarding authorizations, pricing, and service requests.
Maintain accurate claim records and ensure follow-ups are completed on time. Help resolve questions, concerns, and escalated claims with patience and professionalism. Work with internal teams to ensure claims are reviewed accurately and closed efficiently.
What We're Looking For Bilingual in Spanish and English, with the ability to communicate professionally in both languages. Experience of 2-4 years of claims authorization or in contact center environments is strongly preferred. Strong written communication skills and confidence speaking with customers and service providers.
Previous experience in claims, authorizations, customer service, insurance, warranty services, or a call center environment is preferred. Strong attention to detail and the ability to review information, follow procedures, and make sound decisions. Comfortable managing emails, outbound calls, multiple cases, and deadlines.
A calm, professional approach when explaining difficult decisions or handling customer concerns. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel. A high school diploma or equivalent.
Work Environment This is an onsite position in Lehi, Utah, with the flexibility to work from home on Fridays.
