Maintenance Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the Maintenance Department, including maintenance supervisors, technicians, and controls personnel
- Provide technical leadership for troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, automation, PLC, and control system issues
- Oversee preventative and predictive maintenance programs to improve equipment uptime and reliability
- Support controls systems, including PLC logic, HMIs, sensors, drives, automation systems, and equipment controls
- Lead capital projects, equipment upgrades, installations, commissioning activities, and facility improvements
- Manage equipment purchases, vendor relationships, contractors, project timelines, and budgets
- Partner with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Materials teams to improve processes and resolve equipment issues
- Analyze downtime, equipment failures, and maintenance performance to identify improvement opportunities
- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions to improve safety, reliability, and production efficiency
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, LOTO requirements, environmental standards, and company policies
- Build a culture focused on safety, teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
Maintenance Manager Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial maintenance
- Experience leading maintenance teams, technical personnel, or controls-related functions
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, automation, and industrial controls
- Experience troubleshooting PLCs, HMIs, drives, sensors, and automated equipment
- Experience with preventative maintenance, predictive maintenance, reliability programs, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Experience supporting capital projects, equipment installations, and equipment upgrades
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills with a hands on leadership approach
- Ability to coach, train, and develop maintenance and technical team members
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross functionally with operations and engineering teams
- Technical degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Automation, Controls, or related field preferred; equivalent hands on experience considered
