Position Summary
We are seeking a Supervisor, Paid Search, to join our Biddable Media team. The Supervisor role is expected to demonstrate a deep understanding of paid search strategy, campaign performance, investment dynamics and how paid search supports broader channel activation plans. These skills will be applied to support healthcare and pharmaceutical client goals through paid search planning, campaign execution, optimization, reporting and team oversight. The Supervisor will work closely with Associate Directors to support holistic search strategy aligned to each brand’s goals and objectives, while guiding junior team members through day-to-day execution.

Compensation Range
$70,000—$125,000 USD

These skills allow the Supervisor to help connect agency priorities, paid search best practices and client business objectives:
- Planning: Support Associate Directors and client teams in finalizing landscape, competitor and trend analyses. Review analyses and drafted recommendations through a strategic lens to ensure campaign recommendations are clear, measurable and aligned to client objectives.
- Development: Help refine SSCG paid search best practices by identifying common needs, execution gaps and repeatable processes across assigned accounts. Work with day-to-day leads and junior team members to implement consistent workflows that support campaign accuracy and performance. Support the paid search MLR/legal review process by coordinating approved copy, keyword, landing page and documentation inputs through final approval.
- Optimization: Guide recurring campaign optimizations across assigned accounts using performance data, search query trends, budget pacing, keyword performance, ad copy performance and bidding insights. Identify relevant testing opportunities, betas and emerging capabilities to discuss with Associate Directors and department leadership. Track performance shifts across search platforms and help translate learnings into future recommendations.
- Stewardship: Lead day-to-day client communications for assigned accounts while supporting Associate Directors on strategic communications and ad hoc initiatives. Partner with Managers and junior team members to prepare client updates, reports and follow-up materials. Help ensure the team remains aligned to brand objectives, timelines and budget pacing.
- Reporting: Lead reporting and data analysis efforts for assigned accounts and priority campaign workstreams. Review data pulls, formulas and formatted figures for accuracy while developing narratives and insights that connect historical trends, current results and future optimization opportunities. Responsible for QA of client-facing materials, including reporting, ad hoc requests and external communications.
Between 4-6 years of hands-on experience building, optimizing and/or reporting on paid search campaigns across core paid search platforms and tools, including:
- Google Ads
- Microsoft Ads (Bing)
- YouTube
- SA360 (or other similar paid search campaign manager platforms
- Experience training junior team members and QA’ing junior team member work
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage large, complex data sets
- Strong understanding of foundational paid search elements, including campaign structure, keyword strategy, match types, search query analysis, ad copy, ad assets, bidding, budgets, tracking and pre-launch QA
- Advanced understanding of Excel and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
- Expert of the foundational elements of paid search and various bid strategies
- Understanding of multi-channel marketing strategy, and the interconnectedness of social, search, open web programmatic, display, and OOH strategies.
- Exposure to emerging search, AI-search or search-adjacent platforms including:
- Open Evidence, Gemini, Copilot, ChatGPT
- Ability to conduct advanced data analysis quickly and across platforms in support of timely client goals and shifting priorities
- Ability to set up ad accounts, IOs and billing profiles within search platforms
- Understanding of AI-based paid search tools and emerging AI-search behaviors
- Experience supporting MLR/legal review documentation for paid search campaigns
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in marketing, advertising, business or equivalent
- Genuine interest in how search is evolving through AI-driven and conversational search behavior
- Demonstrate diligence, attention to detail, and adherence to agency best practices.
- Resourceful, curious, and motivated spirit with an ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proven ability to operate independently, in team settings, and through delegation.
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Adaptability and comfort working with shifting priorities and deadlines
- Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, or regulated industry experience strongly preferred
- Ability to work alongside clients and agency partners to support message, delivery and measurement planning for complex campaigns
