Account Director I Deposits
RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as the primary day-to-day client lead and strategic partner to senior stakeholders (e.g., CMO, Head of Marketing, Head of Product or Distribution).
Lead the development of integrated media strategies across performance and upper-funnel channels to drive acquisition and growth.
Present media recommendations, insights, and performance readouts with clarity and confidence.
Proactively identify optimization opportunities, innovation initiatives, and areas for business growth.
Oversee biddable and performance media campaigns with direct impact on customer acquisition.
Guide campaign measurement, reporting, and analytics, translating data into actionable insights and optimization strategies.
Partner with activation, analytics, and channel teams to continuously evolve programs and improve performance.
Lead, mentor, and develop junior and mid-level team members across the full media lifecycle.
Provide oversight across strategy development, partner RFPs, evaluation and negotiation, plan development, execution, reporting, optimization, and billing.
Establish clear professional development plans and career progression frameworks for team members.
Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture focused on accountability and growth.
Contribute to Ptarmigan thought leadership through POVs, case studies, and industry insights.
Support new business initiatives, including pitch strategy, media approach development, and presentations.
Participate in leadership group meetings and cross-functional initiatives.
Manage projects, resources, and timelines across internal teams and external partners.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
8+ years of media planning and buying experience within a media agency environment, with demonstrated leadership progression.
Strong expertise in performance marketing and full-funnel media strategy.
Proven ability to deliver innovative media solutions that drive measurable results across awareness, consideration, and acquisition.
Advanced analytical skills with experience reporting on KPIs across multiple channels and tactics.
Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing incremental value for clients.
Proficiency in tools such as Google Analytics, DoubleClick/DFA, MOAT/IAS, Google Data Studio, Prisma, and Spectra.
Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with media partners and platform representatives.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including advanced PowerPoint and Excel capabilities.
A collaborative, consultative leadership style with the ability to challenge assumptions and elevate thinking.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Compensation Range
$120,000 - $155,000 USD
This role is hybrid, requiring three (3) days per week in the office. The remaining two (2) days may be worked remotely. Specific in-office days will be discussed during the interview process, with flexibility to align with team needs. Please note that the number or required in-office days may be adjusted over time, potentially increasing the number of required in-office days based on business needs.
