- This pharmacy serves the local community: Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM; Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM; Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

As a Pharmacist-In-Charge on the Specialty Pharmacy team at Omnicell, you’ll work at the top of your license, contribute to a community’s well-being, and lead the pharmacy team. - Provide exceptional and personalized patient care and pharmacy consulting services; advise and guide with empathy, confidentiality, and diligence
- Build effective relationships with local physicians and medical community to ensure accurate and safe dispensing of medication to patients
- Business acumen and leadership; own pharmacy operations and embrace continual improvement, learning, and leading to provide the best possible patient care and empower the pharmacy team’s development
- Stay informed of regulations, retail pharmacy best practices, and knowledge of specialty diseases such as Autoimmune, Oncology, Hepatitis C, HIV, and more
- Clinical oversight and industry innovation; committee member participation as Omnicell leads innovation in medication management and elevates the roles of the pharmacist in healthcare
What You’ll Bring
Basic Qualifications:
- Pharm.D. or BS Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
- Successful completion of Louisiana state pharmacy board examination
- Pharmacist license current and in good standing in Louisiana
- Up-to-date on all continuing education requirements
- Two (2) year of experience in the practice of pharmacy
- Two (2) years of experience in pharmacy management
- This position is moderately active and requires standing, walking, and other movement for the duration of the shift and lifting up to 25 pounds
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear
- Ability to see distinctions in colors and shapes
