We are seeking a Software Engineer 2 to serve on an Agile Software team performing feature updates and operational support on a production system. Responsibilities include updating and maintaining Python code, creating images using custom Docker scripts, and some day-to-day system maintenance. The candidate should also have familiarity with DevOps practices and tools as well as the Atlassian suite of products (i.e. Jira and Confluence) and source version control.

Qualification Requirements:
- TS/SCI Polygraph
- Fourteen (14) years’ experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
- Proficiency with Python
- Familiarity with Docker compose
- Experience with GIT
- Experience with the Linux operating system
- Experience with REST architectures
- Experience implementing REST in Python using FLask
- Experience using Pandas for data manipulation in Python
- Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD
- Experience with the Atlassian suite of software development and management products (Confluence and Jira)
