We are currently seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team to prepare and maintain financial reports and statements and support the overall efforts of the Finance Department.

Staff Accountant Duties and Responsiblities:
- Prepares Monthly Balance Sheets and bank reconciliations.
- Assists in the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring transactions are in accordance with GAAP, and internal policies and procedures are followed.
- Assist with all year-end tasks associated with timely completion of financial statements, tax returns, Medicare, and Medicaid cost reports.
- Participates in development of annual operating and capital budgets.
- Assists with work papers required for all Medicare and/or Medicaid Cost Report(s) submissions.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Ability to learn Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Dynamics GP, and PCC preferred
- Attention to detail and accuracy/proficiency in data entry required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Entry level to 2 years work or internship related experience.
- Experience within the nursing homes or healthcare sector preferred.
