Omnia Healthcare Group is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our Finance team. This role is responsible for preparing and maintaining financial reports and statements while supporting the day-to-day accounting operations of the department.
This role is a fully on-site role, 5-days a week in our corporate office.

Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and bank reconciliations.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring transactions are recorded in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
- Support the timely completion of year-end financial statements, tax returns, and Medicare and Medicaid cost reports.
- Participate in the preparation of annual operating and capital budgets.
- Assist in preparing work papers and supporting documentation for Medicare and Medicaid cost report submissions.
- Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- At least three years of accounting experience, including internships.
- Strong attention to detail with accurate data entry skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP and PCC is a plus.
- Experience in healthcare or skilled nursing accounting is preferred but not required.
