Position Summary
We are seeking an experience Electrical Prefab Technician in the low voltage industry. This individual will focus on pre-testing, wiring, programming and pre-assembling units in an off-site environment before installation.
Key Responsibilities
· Test systems to verify safety and efficiency by measuring voltage, resistance, and amperage levels.
· Maintain records of all work performed, documenting maintenance, repairs, and installations.
· Specialized Systems: Programming alarm systems via programmer or keypad.
· Prefabrication of panelboards
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of technical field experience in the low voltage electrical industry, preferably with hands-on experience in fire alarm, access control, video surveillance, nurse call, and/or audio video systems.
- Your commitment to quality work and attention to detail will ensure reliable system installations.
Desired Qualifications
· Associates degree in Electronics Engineering technology or a related field
· Solid understanding of electronics fundamentals
· Comfortable working from schematics, drawings, and verbal instructions
· Exceptional diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
