Job Duties
- Read, understand, and construct based on customer-provided plans and blueprint drawings
- Perform physically demanding tasks with a strong work ethic
- Deliver outstanding customer service while ensuring timely, accurate, and safe job execution
- Comply with company policies and industry regulations (OSHA, First Aid, CPR, etc.)
- Read and interpret structural, architectural, and design documents across telecommunications, commercial, residential, and light industrial projects
- Conduct due diligence for multiple projects prior to field work
- Review work completed by peers for accuracy and quality
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of tower climbing experience; rigging experience highly preferred
- Experience working with multiple carriers (T-Mobile, AT&T, Sprint, Verizon, etc.)
- High school diploma or GED; Electrical (AC/DC) and/or mechanical background preferred
- Current CommTrain or equivalent certification required
- Additional certifications preferred: Competent Rigger, RF Awareness, OSHA 10, First Aid/CPR, Hazardous Communication, Bloodborne Pathogens
- Proficient in installation and management of CAT 5, CAT 6, and Fiber Optic data cabling
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; proactive, team-oriented, and results-driven
- Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Drug-free with access to a smartphone and hotspot connectivity
- Experience with cellular networks and related equipment preferred
- Ability to terminate cables and run conduit is a plus
- Comfortable leading teams when a foreman is unavailable
- Capable of updating equipment records and maintaining accurate ‘as-built’ documentation
- Must be comfortable using ladders, demonstrate manual dexterity, and lift/carry loads up to 40 lbs
- Adaptable to dynamic work environments and committed to travel as needed
- Trailer pulling and load-driving ability is a plus
