Customer Care Specialist

Job Summary:
The Customer Care Specialist (Brick and Mortar) will interact with the company's customers by addressing inquiries, answering questions, and resolving complaints. Assist in the loan process and conduct customer solicitation.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None
- Interacts with customers via telephone, email, online chat, or in-person to provide support and information on products and services.
- Collects and enters customers' information for loan applications, account inquiries, and payment processing.
- Fields customer questions and concerns; when the issue is beyond the representative's knowledge, forwards to the appropriate staff.
- Conduct calls to current, past, and prospective customers to ensure contact information is up-to-date and to offer additional lending options.
- Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers' inquiries.
- Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, and/or comments.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Excellent communication skills, including active listening.
- Exceptional sales ability.
- Ability to resolve customer objections.
- Service-oriented and able to resolve customer concerns.
- Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Customer service experience required.
- Consumer finance experience is a plus.
- Military knowledge is a plus.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
