2nd Shift runs Monday - Friday, 2:45 pm to 11:15 pm
Job Overview
Material Handlers will be responsible for unloading product deliveries, staging products based on production orders and assisting with organizing and maintaining existing inventory. Material Handlers will help to maintain warehouse stock and assist in shop floor orders, moving finished goods and raw material pallets.
Key Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials within or near the facility using hand trucks, forklifts, or other equipment.
- Stage materials for production and ensure timely delivery to workstations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and in compliance with company policies.
- Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Follow all safety procedures and report any unsafe conditions or incidents.
- Assist with packaging and labeling of products for shipment.
- Collaborate with warehouse, production, and logistics teams to meet operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Working Conditions:
- Temperature-controlled warehouse environment.
- May require use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Fast-paced and physically demanding role.
