Technical Sales Representative
Spartanburg, SC region
$75,000 - $80,000 (plus commission)
Our client is part of a nationwide organization that serves multiple industries with waste management and a variety of environmental services. They are renowned for making our country and our industries better places by cleaning up and/or disposing of anything that can be hazardous to the environment or to our manufacturing facilities throughout the nation. Due to recent promotion and company-wide growth, they are currently looking to hire a Technical Sales Representative for the Spartanburg, SC region. This individual can work from home, as long as it's within this region.
Main duties include:
- Full sales cycle of companies' technical services to heavy industrial clients
- True 'hunter' mentality, aiding in the growth and expansion of the company into new clients and new industries
- Provide expertise-level service to existing clients
- Attend trade shows to promote the company and to network
- Closely monitor industry trends, forecast sales volumes within certain industries, formulate sales plans into new market segments
Qualifications include:
- At least a 2-year degree (BS degree highly desired)
- Proven sales experience within some sort of industrial cleaning service and/or waste management (hazardous or non)
- Strong 'hunter' mindset- ability to grow and generate new business within new industry segments
- Proven sales success
- Willing to travel (about 50%) and work from home
