As the Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for :
Coaching and mentoring the Purchasing team
Overseeing and ensuring the flow of materials, supplies and services
Developing a strategic sourcing model
Negotiating contracts and agreements
Reducing costs and inventory control
Evaluating and selecting freight and logistics suppliers
Following IATF standards
Achieving department metrics
To be considered for the Purchasing Manager position you must have :
A BS degree or higher and at least 3 years of supervisory experience in purchasing, supply chain, materials or similar.
Any certifications are a plus
Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills : strong negotiation skills
