We're looking for a data-driven Production Planner to optimize production schedules, balance customer demand with manufacturing capacity, and keep operations running smoothly.
In this role, you'll use ERP/MRP systems, analytics, and AI-powered tools to manage production plans, identify risks, improve inventory performance, and support on-time delivery. You'll partner closely with manufacturing, procurement, sales, engineering, and supply chain teams to solve problems and drive continuous improvement.
What You'll Do
- Develop and manage production schedules that balance demand, inventory, capacity, and service levels.
- Review MRP outputs and production plans to identify material, labor, capacity, and inventory risks.
- Optimize planning parameters including safety stock, reorder points, and lot sizes.
- Use data, reporting, and AI tools to improve planning decisions and operational performance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve supply and production challenges.
- Monitor schedule execution, communicate risks, and support recovery plans.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance planning accuracy and inventory health.
What You'll Bring
- 3 years of production planning, scheduling, supply planning, or manufacturing experience.
- Strong knowledge of MRP, capacity planning, inventory management, and production scheduling.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP or similar platforms.
- Advanced Excel, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment with changing demand and capacity constraints.
- APICS/ASCM, Lean, Six Sigma, or AI/analytics experience is a plus.
Salary : $80,000 - $85,000
