Our client is a global manufacturing corporation that has consistently grown throughout the United States over the past 5 years- opening up brand new facilities across the country. Their site located outside of Chicago has been growing in recent years and looking to bring some new EH&S talent to the plant. Main duties of the EH&S Manager include:
- Ensure the facility is adhering to strict OSHA and EPA regulations and requirements
- Lead all safety inspections
- Oversee and lead a team of safety and environmental specialists
- Develop new policies for emergency preparedness, confined spaces and all equipment safeguarding
- Work closely with the Plant Manager to improve all EH&S functions throughout the facility
Qualifications include:
- BS in an EH&S field. Masters degree strongly preferred
- At least 5-10 years of experience leading EH&S functions for a manufacturing site
- Strong OSHA and EPA experience
- Strong air and wastewater experience
Salary : $90,000 - $130,000
