Key Responsibilities
- Guide students through an engaging, developmentally responsive math and science curriculum that includes Math 1, Math 2 and biology
- Create meaningful, experiential learning opportunities that connect concepts to real life
- Support students’ academic, social and emotional development in alignment with Montessori principles
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; degree in math, science, or related field preferred
- Experience with adolescents strongly preferred
- Montessori training (AMS/AMI or willingness to obtain)
- Enthusiasm for guiding young people through adolescence with compassion and high expectations
- Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom-management skills
