Maintenance Supervisor/Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Maintenance Supervisor/Technician to lead our maintenance team and ensure optimal manufacturing operation at Omni Manufacturing, Inc. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with strong management skills to oversee maintenance activities, troubleshoot complex equipment, and implement preventative strategies in a metal stamping factory. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate leadership, and possess comprehensive knowledge of industrial maintenance systems, electrical and mechanical components, and facilities management. Your efforts will directly contribute to maintaining a safe, efficient, and reliable production environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance operations, including scheduling and prioritizing work orders to minimize downtime.
• Lead projects related to equipment upgrades, installations, or modifications with effective project management practices.
• Conduct inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential hazards or failures; implement corrective actions promptly.
• Train and supervise maintenance technicians and team members to develop their skills in industrial maintenance practices - providing corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations related to electrical systems (high/low voltage), machinery operation, and general facilities management.
• Participate in our Safety Committee
• Perform electrical/ electrical phase 3/ phase troubleshooting
• Maintain company vehicles, building, and equipment
• Perform high quality fabrication work as needed

Experience

• Experience managing projects from planning through execution within a manufacturing setting.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively while fostering a safety-conscious work environment.
• Fluency in English is required for clear communication across teams; additional language skills are a plus. Requirements

• 10 years of proven experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance with a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems.
• 6 years of supervising or management experience in a maintenance environment.
• 10 years of experience in a metal stamping facility, and experience working with high tonnage presses.
• 10 years of proven experience on a forklift, aerial lift, and scissor lift
• Ability to read blueprints and comprehend mechanical drawings
