What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Service Equipment Technician position at Omni Management LLC dba Omni Scientific Equipment Services?
We are looking for an Field Service Equipment Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for installing, servicing, repairing various types of laboratory / scientific / medical / veterinary / etc. equipment locally (MA), throughout New England and possibly beyond on occasion.
Responsibilities:
- Reliable, Flexible, Problem Solving, Adaptable, Customer Service, Quality, Positive Attitude
- Specialize in installing all types of equipment and products
- Perform routine equipment service & maintenance
- Use diagnostic tools to test equipment components
- Perform quality inspections, repairs and preventative/proactive maintenance
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in maintenance, electronics, mechanics, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, PLC's, Sterilizers, Boilers, washer equipment, solenoid valves, steam traps, etc. very helpful.
- Knowledge of shop equipment, tools, machinery, prints, instructions
- Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills and customer service
- Deadline, detail-oriented, organized, professional, workmanship pride, get-it-done attitude
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

We are a small but growing company that can provide the right candidate with room for growth and advancement. Pay is dependent on experience.
