Established in 1998, OMNI's collaborative culture and family friendly work environment continues to expand. Recently relocating to South Overland Park, we are seeking a Human Resource Consultant to partner with our growing client base.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Vice President of Consulting, the Human Resource Consultant will provide leadership, direction, and support regarding all human resources affairs associated with OMNI clients as assigned. They will directly impact client success through the proactive development and implementation of effective human resources strategies, practices, and tools. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Solve business problems with competent recommendations and solutions. Provide insight and support in all areas associated with human resources management (i.e., recruitment and hiring, compensation/benefits, performance management, coaching and performance improvement, terminations, unemployment)
- Actively engage with client leaders and their staff through regular meetings, on-site and off-site, via phone, emails, and other relevant forms of communication as necessary.
- Regularly and effectively communicate throughout all levels within the organization in written, verbal, and presentation formats.
- Mediate and resolve conflicts. Make critical decisions supported by substantial analysis and critical data-based decision making.
- Provide a high level of personal direction, leadership and coaching to all client staff as appropriate and assigned.
- Build influential relationships and strategic partnerships within all levels of client organizations.
- Regularly and routinely use technology necessary to collect, retain, analyze, and report critical, requisite information related to human resources, payroll, benefits, and related matters.
- Engage with OMNI staff partners to ensure all employee services are being delivered in a timely, accurate, compliance, and professional manner.
- Enhance personal and professional visibility in the community. Regularly network within existing and prospective clients/local organizations results in additional billable engagements.
- Uphold and advance the vision, mission, and reputation of OMNI HR Solutions at all times.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated success in human resource leadership positions (Sr. Business Partner, Asst. VP, HR Director, etc.) within the human resources field, preferably including some experience in small, start up or growth organizations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required. Graduate degree or HR certification strongly preferred.
- Substantial knowledge and expertise in all facets of human resources management.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a high capacity for influence among organizational leadership levels and other such persons of influence.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and demonstrated success in a multi-task environment managing projects of a critical nature with urgency and importance.
