Assistant Housekeeping Manager

To assist in managing and directing of all Housekeeping and Laundry functions. To participate in quality assurance for Housekeeping department and department cost control measures. To provide support to the executive Housekeeper in all areas of the Housekeeping Operation. To ensure Omni standards are met in all areas by monitoring quality assurance, and consistently setting a good example.

To assist in managing and directing of all Housekeeping and Laundry functions. To participate in quality assurance for Housekeeping department and department cost control measures. To provide support to the executive Housekeeper in all areas of the Housekeeping Operation. To ensure Omni standards are met in all areas by monitoring quality assurance, and consistently setting a good example.
Responsibilities
- Inspects the cleaning and servicing of guestrooms.
- Assigns special assignments as directed by the Executive Housekeeper.
- Reports any repairs or discrepancies of guest rooms.
- Ensures that all GRAs have appropriate supplies and linens.
- Assists in the cleaning of guest rooms when necessary.
- Assists in processing AM and PM room status reports.
- Ensures that the GRA's linen cart is neat and well organized.
- Ensures that linen closets on guest room floors are completely stocked.
- Inspects all In-house and Arriving VIPs daily.
- Inspects all Show Rooms daily.
- Assigns keys and pagers to all Room Attendants and Housepersons.
- Inspects all Due Outs daily and forwards report to Front Desk.
- Inspects the work areas of the Room Attendants and Housepersons on assigned floors.
- Checks in keys assigned to Room Attendants and Housepersons at shift end.
- Checks and clears all discrepant room status’ prior to ending their shift daily.
- Will Inspect and train Turndown Attendants.
- Required to work flexible hours, holidays and weekends.
- Practice aggressive hospitality.
- Special projects as directed by management.
- Prior Housekeeping Supervisory Experience in Hospitality preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED / College Degree preferred.
- Must be highly motivated and have the ability to Multi-task.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Must have the ability to lead, motivate and develop others.
