Essential Functions
- Answer and operate the resort’s PBX telephone system in a professional and courteous manner.
- Route incoming calls to the appropriate departments and associates.
- Assist guests with resort information, amenities, dining reservations, activities, and general inquiries.
- Process guest requests and dispatch work orders to Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, and other departments as needed.
- Schedule and deliver accurate wake-up calls.
- Respond to guest concerns and ensure proper follow-up through established service recovery procedures.
- Maintain knowledge of resort amenities, services, operating hours, and special events.
- Support emergency communication procedures and understand resort radio and communication protocols.
- Accurately document guest requests, complaints, and service issues.
- Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining Omni's standards of excellence.
- Previous customer service, call center, front desk, or hospitality experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills.
- Strong computer proficiency and ability to learn hotel operating systems.
- Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional, friendly, and positive demeanor.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Must be able to sit for extended periods and occasionally stand, reach, and lift up to 15 pounds.
