To serve as the liaison with Catering/Convention Service Managers and all operational departments with onsite meeting contact. This position is highly visible and the central point for handling and addressing special needs or requests for in house groups.

Overview
To serve as the liaison with Catering/Convention Service Managers and all operational departments with onsite meeting contact. This position is highly visible and the central point for handling and addressing special needs or requests for in house groups.
Responsibilities
- Assist Convention Services and Catering Managers with coordination of groups as needed
- Meet group meeting planner prior to functions and assist throughout the program
- Establishes rapport with clients and functions as Manager’s liaison.
- Special projects as assigned by Department Manager.
- Acts as a liaison between clients and all internal departments
- Attend pre-cons, resume and Banquet Event Order meetings
- Receives signed Banquet Event Orders for all functions
- During conference, will ensure the meeting arrangements are to specifications
- Attends post-con meetings at conclusion of conference when necessary
- Ensure personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, and support team to reach common goals.
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
- Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
- 1–2 years in customer service or hospitality
- Experience in event planning, banquets, or front desk is a strong plus
- Proficiency in hotel systems (e.g., Opera, Delphi, Microsoft Office Suite)
- Flexible schedule (availability for weekends, evenings, and holidays)
- Excellent communication (verbal and written)
- Professional demeanor and appearance
- Strong attention to detail
