Job Summary

Provide leadership to ensure property content and rates are relevant and credible within the distribution channels which include voice, GDS, Brand Website, 3rd party internet sites and the systems used to support those channels. Ensure accurate & timely implementation of connectivity for new distribution partners. Conduct regular discussions with distribution partners to ensure optimized distribution.

Essential Job Functions/Qualifications

• Provide supervision and work distribution to Global Distribution Departments through counseling, motivation, performance measurement, promotion of teamwork and excellent service oriented skills
• Provides direction for departmental responsibilities
• Establishes standards
• Holds staff accountable and measures performance outcomes
• Responsible for analysis of system performance related to automated distribution channels
• Optimize room revenue for Omni Hotels and all revenue distribution channels
• Communicate and function as the advocate for communicating the revenue impact of decisions
• Monitor and analyze booking pace and response times for all automated distribution channels
• Evaluate system performance and new systems, system implementations and training related to distribution channels
• Responsible for all distribution database functionality and content critical to the delivery of reservation services throughout all distribution channels
• Coordinate activities supported by all distribution channels for hotel conversions to Omni Hotels’ Global Reservation System
• Analyzes distribution trends, costs, revenues and performance metrics and collaboratively works with management to ensure optimum efficiency is obtained
• Conduct regular audits of property content to validate accuracy and maximum revenue generation and coordinates with properties to obtain updated information for sales channels
• Evaluate and implement system enhancements and opportunities for Distribution channels
• Ensure central system stability through regression testing of versions and fixes prior to deployment
• Coordinate with Hotel Directors of Revenue Management, Corporate Revenue Management, and Corporate Sales & Marketing, to ensure efficient deployment of initiatives and content throughout all distribution channels.
• Actively communicates with peers, hotels, center, and corporate to promote an environment that encourages open dialogue and constructive feedback
• Provide supervision for the National Account RFP submissions and insure accurate and timely loading of negotiated rates
• Participates in Contact Center Leadership as a member of the Executive Operating Committee (EOC)
