Works as directed. Performs welding, cutting, and grinding in the repair, modification and fabrication of equipment and facilities.
Example of Duties
- Becoming knowledgeable of and abiding by all company policies and procedures;
- Represent the company in a professional manner;
- Fabricate and repair, with or without blueprints, a variety of metal work ranging in size;
- Being on Call to travel to customer's locations;
- Driving company vehicle and towing company equipment to job sight;
- Cuts, fits, and welds metal using gas and electric welding equipment;
- Ability to interact with customer's representative in order to meet customer's expectations concerning the character and quality of work to be performed;
- Perform related tasks as required;
- Ensures that all welding equipment functions properly and that the welding areas are kept clean.
- Must have a consistent presence at work and/or on customer properties.

- Certified in welding by an accredited school;
- Equivalent combination of training, education, or experience that would provide
- the required knowledge and abilities;
- Must meet HSE requirements;
- Ability to become certified to the ANSI D1.1 Structural Welding Procedure;
- Maintain "Qualified Driver" status.
- Must possess a T.W.I.C. (Transportation Worker Identification Card)
