Job Description:
WISCO Trucking is hiring experienced Diesel Mechanics for Williston, ND - Stanley, ND - Tioga, ND Crosby ND, and Watford City, ND.

• $2,500 weekly average gross for a standard 5-day workweek
• $25 – $35 per hour for experienced mechanics
• Overtime pay: Time-and-a-half up to $52.50 for hours over 40
• Day shift, typically 12-hour shifts, 5 days per week (additional days available if desired)

About the Role

• Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel-powered trucks, oilfield equipment, and heavy machinery
• Troubleshoot and repair engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical systems
• Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
• Follow the preventative maintenance schedule established by the Service Manager
• Perform routine shop services including oil changes, tire changes, and brake work

Job Requirements:

• Experience as a diesel mechanic; oilfield, construction, or heavy equipment background preferred
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, transmissions, and electrical systems
• Welding/fabrication experience a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification/trade school preferred)
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks
• Able to work outdoors in extreme temperatures and uneven surfaces
• Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and crouch for extended periods

Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel trucks, oilfield equipment, and heavy machinery
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, including engines, transmissions, and drivetrains
• Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards
• Perform routine services such as oil changes, tire changes, and brake repairs (shoes/drums)
• Follow the preventative maintenance schedule established by the Service Manager
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used
