Omni Dynamic is a small machine shop in Newfield, NY.
We are looking for an experienced Polisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for polishing various alloys to a high standard of finish. This position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to use a variety of polishing tools and techniques. The successful candidate will also be expected to maintain a clean and safe work environment, follow safety protocols, and adhere to production schedules. Parts vary in size and weight. Grind, files, and polish surface to specidifed shapes and contours using tenplates, dial calipers, thickness gages and radius gages.
Responsibilities: at minimum
- Use polishing machines to polish metal, super alloys and other materials to print.
- Understand the principles of polishing and buffing.
- Follow safety guidelines while operating polishing machines.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Inspect finished products for quality control.
- Ensure that all materials are properly handled and stored.
- Sweep, mop, and otherwise keep work are clean, neat and orderly
- Team player with honesty and integrity
- Constantly upgrade your skill through on the job training
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
