## Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for assisting in dental procedures and providing top-notch patient care. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on delivering exceptional dental services.
## Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Utilize Eaglesoft software for patient management
- Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
## Experience
- Required to be a Registered DA II in the state of NC
- Previous experience working as a Dental Assistant is preferred
### Required Skills:
- Proficiency in anatomy knowledge and prosthodontics
- Ability to take vital signs accurately
- Knowledge of medical terminology and medical imaging
- Familiarity with aseptic technique in a dental setting
### Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with Eaglesoft software
- Understanding of medical coding and documentation processes
