Omni Concrete Solutions, founded in 2021, is a fast-growing company specializing in structural and flatwork concrete for both residential and commercial projects. Our work includes detention vaults, foundations, slabs, retaining walls, curbs, sidewalks, and more. We are committed to delivering high-quality results and are seeking a driven professional to support both preconstruction and project execution efforts.


Position Summary

The Concrete Estimator / Project Manager will play a key role in both preconstruction and project execution. This position is responsible for preparing accurate estimates, developing competitive bids, and supporting or managing projects through completion.

This is an ideal role for someone who can own the numbers upfront and stay involved through the lifecycle of the project—ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and profitability.


Key Responsibilities

Estimating & Preconstruction

• Attend pre-bid meetings and job site visits to understand site requirements  

• Review plans, specifications, and bid documents to define the scope of work  

• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for structural and flatwork concrete  

• Solicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor and vendor bids  

• Develop and maintain historical cost data for accurate forecasting  

• Prepare and submit complete bid proposals and supporting documentation  

Project Management & Execution

• Assist with project setup, buyout, and procurement of materials and equipment  

• Manage project budgets, track costs, and forecast financial performance  

• Serve as a point of contact for customers, subcontractors, and vendors  

• Track and manage change orders, submittals, and progress billings  

• Review and approve subcontractor/vendor invoices  

• Ensure compliance with contract documents and project requirements  

• Maintain accurate project records, including cost reports and progress updates  

• Identify risks early and work with leadership to implement solutions  

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in construction estimating and/or project management  

• Strong background in concrete construction (structural and/or flatwork preferred)  

• Ability to read and interpret civil and structural plans 

• Proven experience performing quantity takeoffs and building estimates  

• Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and sequencing  

• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously  

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills  

Technical Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel 

• Experience with Bluebeam required  

• Familiarity with Microsoft Project or scheduling software  


Work Environment/ Physical Requirements:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Employee will experience regular periods of sitting/standing at a desk and working on a computer for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift or move up to 50 pounds unassisted. Occasionally may be required to travel as required to job sites, clients or suppliers. Visits to sites will require proper PPE and a professional image. Working surfaces are frequently uneven and employees will be exposed to hot and cold environments depending on seasons. Must have a valid driving license and a clean driving history.


Pay: $95,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year, based on experience
