What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical Assembly Technician position at Omni Aerospace Inc?
Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Setup and operate a variety of assembly tools
- Sealing parts
- Drills, reams, and countersinks holes in subassemblies, and bolts, rivets, or otherwise fastens subassemblies into structural assembly, using hand tools and Pneumatic tools.
- Installing hardware
- Track inventory to ensure proper number of parts for assembly
- Read blueprints and specs
- Perform other duties as requested
Requirements
- Aerospace machine parts assembly experience - specifically large piece count builds, mid-size subassemblies
- Experience working with electrical bond and close tolerance features such as reaming
- Ability to read and understand complex work instructions, blueprints, and specs
- Experience with all types of assembly tools
- Strong attention to detail
- Teamwork and the ability to work with diverse people and groups is required
- 3-5 years minimum experience in mechanical assembly
