CNC Machine Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift

Omni Aerospace is seeking an experienced Machine Maintenance Mechanic. This position will require overtime and on-call responsibilities. You will report directly to our Director of Operations. 

 Responsibilities and Duties

• Testing, diagnosing, repairing and maintaining machine tools including CNC controls, PLC hardware and software, control circuits, electro/mechanical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Performing adjustments, alignments and calibrations on equipment
• Installing and upgrading new and current equipment
• Ensuring preventative maintenance schedules are performed on a regular basis
• Troubleshoot and repair factory equipment and CNC equipment
• Read and follow blueprints, drawings and schematics
• Assisting with other duties, assignments and projects as required

Requirements

•  Two years related experience
• Strong mechanical and electrical abilities, manufacturing experience and understanding of safety and environmental practices
• Strong analytical skills and demonstrated problem-solving abilities
• Ability to read/interpret blueprints and schematics
• Ability to work well with a team as well as independently
• Must be results oriented with a strong desire to succeed

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Two-year technical degree in Mechanical or Electrical Technology
• Basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Familiar with manufacturing processes and machining equipment
• Machine tool experience including major upgrades, revisions and installations both mechanically and with control systems
