Essential Job Functions
- Work diligently to gain a working knowledge of OMICRON protection testing solutions and system protection applications
- Assist internal and external customers in the proper and safe use of OMICRON protection and testing solutions
- Use Customer Relationship Management tools (CRM) to monitor assigned queues and administer assigned cases, academy training, and customer meetings
- Learn to use systematic troubleshooting methods to identify and resolve product or application issues
- With the assistance of the team as required, provide product and application support for internal and external customers for testing relay, metering, automation, and control equipment
- Support the marketing & sales activities of OMICRON by participating in industry events such as trade shows, user meetings, and workshops as assigned
- Effectively use OMICRON collaboration tools to interact with the team
- Assist in preparing and delivering in-person or virtual product and application training
- Assist in preparing application notes, magazine articles, and technical papers
- Assist in constructing, operating, and maintaining the training laboratory
- Perform other duties as assigned by the SEC Engineering Manager

- Favorable consideration will be granted for related internship experience, knowledge of protection, automation and control systems, or hands-on electrical work experience
- A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or electrical engineering technology from an accredited institution; or
- Completion of power, electronic, electrical, or computer technical education, along with substantial work or military experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree.
