THE JOB
The Associate Director, Search and Social is responsible for managing the strategy and execution of Disney’s paid social and search media plans. The Associate Director will play a key role in the translation of marketing and media objectives which supports the client’s goals. The Associate Director is also responsible for identifying and educating on emerging market trends and technologies related to performance marketing.

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include: health insurance, vision insurance, dental insurance, 401(k), Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, vacation days, sick days, personal days, paid parental leave, paid medical leave, and STD/LTD insurance benefits.
Compensation Range
$95,000—$120,000 USD
This role is hybrid, requiring three (3) days per week in the office. The remaining two (2) days may be worked remotely. Specific in-office days will be discussed during the interview process, with flexibility to align with team needs. Please note that the number or required in-office days may be adjusted over time, potentially increasing the number of required in-office days based on business needs.

THE JOB
The Associate Director, Search and Social is responsible for managing the strategy and execution of Disney’s paid social and search media plans. The Associate Director will play a key role in the translation of marketing and media objectives which supports the client’s goals. The Associate Director is also responsible for identifying and educating on emerging market trends and technologies related to performance marketing.
Responsibilities Include
- Must have strong knowledge of the paid social (Meta, TikTok, Snapchat and Pinterest) and Search (Google, Bing, YouTube) landscapes and best practices
- Identify client goals/objectives and lead the development of strategies and tactics for performance marketing-driven campaigns
- Ensure integration and coordination between various internal teams by updating and informing them on the status of all account projects
- Stay current with social consumption habits, ‘first-to-market’ opportunities and emerging technologies
- Provide POV on new technologies and vendor partners.
- Build strong relationships with clients and manage day-to-day relationships including strategic oversight and overall problem solving/troubleshooting
- Mentor a team throughout the process, helping to craft career paths and contribute to the development of all employees working under their direction
- Ability to write clearly and concisely and present orally in an articulate and confident manner
- Check for accuracy, timeliness and quality of all team outputs
- Optimize content calendars for search social and programmatic plans to produce rigorous and clean data

- Bachelor’s degree
- 4-6 years of experience in paid social execution
- A solid understanding of all major biddable platforms (Facebook Power Editor, Twitter/X and YouTube Ads) Experience in paid search and programmatic a plus ((Google, AdWords, DoubleClick Search, Bing, DV360 or similar platform)
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Clear and articulate communicator with the ability to direct and coach team members
- Demonstrated ability to articulate and communicate clearly when participating in internal and client-facing meetings
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to engage an audience and deliver a seamless and effective narrative
- Ability to be agile and adaptable within a quick turnaround business environment
- Excellent ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely
- Demonstrated proactive approach to problem-solving and critical thinking
- Excellent skills in MS Office: Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of ad serving, tagging, and media billing tools a plus
