Role Description
The Project Specialist is a full-time hybrid role based in Solana Beach, CA, with opportunities for some remote work. This position is responsible for coordinating and managing various marketing and retail design projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with client objectives. Day-to-day tasks include communicating with clients to understand project requirements, collaborating with cross-functional teams to execute project deliverables, and monitoring project progress to meet deadlines. The role also involves conducting research, presenting updates, and assisting with the development of innovative retail and digital marketing solutions.
Qualifications
- Project management and organizational experience and proven skills to manage timelines, tasks, and deliverables.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client relationship management and team collaboration.
- Experience with retail design, marketing concepts, and digital signage or content management systems.
- Purchasing mamagement-placing PO's, following up with vendors and insuring timelines are met
- Client interaction
- Project administration; budgeting, spreadsheets, CRM project management software
- Ability to conduct research, analyze data, and develop practical solutions.
- Proficiency with productivity tools and software, such as Microsoft Office or project management tools.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities to tackle challenges effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of the optical or retail sector is beneficial but not required.
