Warehouse Forklift Operator

The Warehouse Forklift Operator plays a crucial role in managing the safe and efficient movement of materials within the warehouse. This position involves operating multiple types of forklift equipment to handle inventory, support loading and unloading processes for both inbound and outbound shipments, and maintain overall warehouse organization. The role requires adherence to safety standards and routine maintenance of equipment during typical 10-hour shifts, with no travel between warehouse locations required.

Responsibilities

• Operate various types of forklifts to move materials safely
• Handle inventory including receiving, storing, and shipping
• Load and unload trucks for inbound and outbound shipments
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures
• Perform routine maintenance on forklift equipment
• Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse operations
• Certified Forklift Operator License
