Job Title: SOAR Architect / Automation Lead
Location: Fairfax County
The SOAR Architect / Automation Lead designs and deploys automated workflows that enhance FFPS incident response speed, consistency, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Design SOAR playbooks for common security incidents and alerts.
- Integrate SOAR with SIEM, MDR tools, ticketing, and threat intelligence feeds.
- Automate enrichment, containment, and remediation actions where appropriate.
- Reduce analyst workload and improve mean time to detect/respond (MTTD/MTTR).
- Document workflows and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- 6 years in security automation, orchestration, or response engineering.
- Proven experience designing SOAR playbooks and integrations.
- Strong scripting and workflow design skills.
- SOAR platform certifications preferred.
