Job Title: Senior Incident Response Analyst
Location: Fairfax County
Senior Incident Response Analyst leads investigation and containment of advanced security incidents impacting FFPS systems and users.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced threat analysis, forensics, and root-cause investigations.
- Lead containment, eradication, and recovery activities.
- Coordinate response efforts with SOC, MDR, and FCPS stakeholders.
- Document incidents, lessons learned, and recommended control improvements.
- Support tabletop exercises and incident response readiness activities.
Qualifications
- 7 years of hands-on incident response experience.
- Strong knowledge of malware analysis, attack vectors, and forensics.
- Experience supporting large, distributed user environments.
GCIH, GCFA, or equivalent certification preferred.
