Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning duties across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces using appropriate cleaning techniques and chemical agents.
- Handle hazardous materials safely by adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) and proper chemical handling procedures.
- Assist with manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of furniture, equipment, or supplies to support housekeeping operations.
- Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning to maintain a pristine environment.
- Support hotel housekeeping management by organizing supplies, restocking amenities, and ensuring compliance with hotel standards.
- Follow hotel emergency procedures diligently to ensure guest and staff safety during incidents or evacuations.
- Maintain cleanliness standards through industrial cleaning practices and custodial experience, contributing to a hygienic atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or janitorial roles within hospitality settings.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, industrial cleaning equipment, and custodial practices.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while maintaining physical stamina throughout shifts.
- Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to respond effectively in urgent situations.
- Experience handling chemical agents responsibly with awareness of SDS guidelines.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior hospitality or hotel experience is highly desirable to ensure seamless integration into team operations.
