The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide rehabilitative services to patients in their homes. - Deliver physical therapy treatments and interventions as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Monitor and document patients' progress and responses to treatment.
- Educate patients and families on exercises and mobility techniques to promote recovery and independence.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.
- Adhere to all state, federal, and agency regulations and protocols.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current California PTA license in good standing.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a home health or similar setting preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a home-based setting.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance.
